For the purpose of this post EZ water is about ordered structures of water that preclude entrance of solutes. Ion cyclotron resonance (ICR) has been used to study the absorption of hydronium cations, key components of EZ water. As it turns out, two of the Schumann resonances at naturally occurring magnetic field strengths, can influence these hydronium cations of water. 50 Hz PEMF, at the right magnetic field strength, can influence the interaction The notion of water with structure is part of homeopathic medicine.
introduction to EZ water
Exclusion zone water has structure from which solutes are excluded. Some authors on Wikipedia claim that hexagonal/EZ water has no scientific evidence, or is rather a mythology. The real mythology is that H2O dissociates in solution to form H+ and OH–. Free protons, H+, in solution is mythology at its worst. This is the reality of the H+, According to other Wikipedia authors, is that the charge density of H+ ensures that it is fully hydrated as H3O+.
Dr Gerald Pollack’s lab page contains an image of EZ water showing a hexagonal hydrogen bonded structure next to a surface. This video shows a H+ sloshing between two oxygens.
Ion cyclotron resonance and H3O+ EZ water
the right frequency and magnetic field causing ions to spin
The concept of ion cyclotron resonance was introduced in the heavy metal detox post. This image is adapted from a MassSpecPro, with input from a JGChem Masterclass YouTube video. The relevant part starts around 2:20 minutes into the video trajectory.
- The resonance frequency ω = 2πf.
- The frequency of excitation is 2πf= zeB/m.
Resonance is dependent on the excitation frequency f, the mass of the ion m, and the magnetic field B. The constant e, the elemental charge of a proton, is there so that the units come out correctly. What this equation says is that each ion has a combination of magnetic field and frequency that will cause it to resonate.
Ion Cyclotron Resonance: proving exclusion zone EZ water
D’Emilia 2014 proved this concept by using a combination of frequency and magnetic field to set off the hydronium H3O+ cation. H+ hop around clusters of said water molecules. This constitutes movement of charges, conductivity. D’Emilia reasoned that if ICR is true, they could see a change in pH and conductivity when they excited the H3O+ cations with the right magnetic field and electromagnetic frequency. The really intriguing thing about this study is that two of the frequencies were Schumann resonances with magnetic fields what we might experience naturally. According to Wikipedia authors, the magnetic field of the earth ranges from 25 to 65 μT.
“One type of field was that combination of static and oscillatory parallel fields corresponding to the ICR tuning condition for hydronium, in one case, 7.83 Hz, 9.70 μT, and in the other, 33.72 Hz, 42.0 μT”
The samples were exposed to the ICR signals and then transferred to the detection device. Water samples were also exposed to a 50Hz solenoid generated magnetic field that also, interestingly, resulted in a resonance at 48.5 Hz when the source was removed. Detecting the signal required quantum decoherence illustrated by this Wikipedia video. .
figure summary
- Diagram of how magnetic fields ere applied and resonance fields were measured. Insulation from the earth’s magnetic field is also described.
- Signal starts at 100 sec, pH decreases, that is to say, less H3O+ in solution. The point was made in the publication that there might be hydroxide anions, OH–, involved in this process. H3O2– is also considered to be part of EZ water.
- conductivity increases at 100 sec. Keep in mind the time for transfer after !CR conditions. The water has “memory” of the ICR.
- Frequency spectrum showing spontaneous 48.5 Hz magnetic oscillation from water sample previously stimulated at ICR condition 7.83 Hz was then exposed to a 50 Hz parallel decoherence field (μT) generated a solenoid magnet. The 48.5 Hz signal persisted for an hour.
- Following ICR priming, the 48.5 Hz magnetic oscillation in water sample is barely visible in the absence of a 50 Hz magnetic decoherence signal.
- The 48.5 Hz resonance signal is much weaker when 35 Hz is used as a decoherence signal instead of 50 Hz. Keep in mind is that the decoherence is used to be able to see the resonance set in motion by ICR.
- Frequency spectrum showing 48.5 Hz output from water when sample is first exposed to an ICR condition for H3O+, 33.7 Hz (42 μT). The rms level of the 33.7 Hz signal in this case was 7.7 μT. This ICR is pretty close to the fifth Schumann resonance.
- Magnetic frequency spectrum output when water was stimulated with second Schumann resonance of 14 Hz yielded no signal at 48.5 Hz.
Can PEMF be used to break up these so called exclusion zones and increase entrance of solutes? The authors did a nice job of showing how the natural PEMF fields of the earth might be interacting with water. ICR PEMF combinations create new oscillatory structures in water that require use of decoherence magnetic fields to detect. What this means in terms of natural PEMF. An interesting foot note is a Wimimedia Commons image posted by a Russian scientist AdmiralHood/Wikimedia claiming that the sharp power peak at 50 Hz is caused by radiation from global power grid.
Exclusion domains / coherence domains in homeopathy
Manzalini and Galeazzi 2019 had a paragraph on Electromagnetic Potentials Coupling Water and Substance in a Homeopathic Medicine. Some quoted statements from this review followed by comments and images.
The Internet was searched for a homeopathic remedy. The seeds of Nux vomica contain strychnine. This seems to be a good reference point to better understand the quoted statements from the review.
“During the preparation of a homeopathic medicine, the substance is progressively diluted in water, in sequential grades of dilution, even beyond Avogadro’s number.”

A collage of Wikimedia Commons images of nux vomica seeds and hydrated crystals of strychnine nitrate, one of many components of the seeds. Critics of homeopathy like to cite nonsensical dilutions. It seems equally nonsensical to think strychnine will not interact with itself
and other components in water. It is hard to imagine components of seeds that are clearly complex being evenly dispersed in water when just one of the components, strychnine forms such lovely crystals as a nitrate salt.
“After any dilution step, water and the substance are vigorously shaken (succussions), thus provoking a vigorous friction between molecules of the substance and water molecules. “

Not only are charged particles rubbing against the sides of the tube, other solutes, and water, they may also be creating magnetic fields by virtue of being moving charged particles. This is a polypropylene tube with a green liquid being shaken. Homeopathic tubs would more likely be of glass. Do the charged particles moving around create enough nT magnetic field low frequency to produce EZ water? Would nux vomicus be different prepared outside than if prepared inside a Faraday cage to isolate from natural and human caused EMF?
“It is well known that water molecules have a certain level of polarity, meaning that there is an uneven distribution of electron density: water has a partial negative charge near the oxygen atom due to the unshared pairs of electrons, and partial positive charges near the hydrogen atoms.”
JY Dolveck 2021 in Water Journal published a Molecular Dynamics study of water in microdroplets. “The excited state is due to an energy transition of an electron located in the non-binding electronic (link to image) orbitals of the oxygen atom. This electron goes from the 2p orbital to a 5d orbital and may be less bound to the oxygen atom.”
“Succussions amplify the EM field created by the polarity of water molecules, thus creating conditions for the formation of CDs.“
Would a laboratory vortex achieve this EMF better than simple tapping?
“The substance has already its own macro-wave function and a specific phase, representing its characteristic information.:
One thing is obvious: most homeopathic remedies have a larger mass (m) and probably a different charge (z) than the H3O+ and Ca2+ cations previously reviewed in this post. T Braun 2020 published a structure of strychnine sulfate in which a single positive charge is on one of the nitrogens. This gives an M/z of strychnine sulfate of 334 compared to only 19 for the hydronium cation. Alternating packing of double layers composed of strychninium cations and layers of water molecules in the crystal structures of (e) HyA and (f) HyF (each viewed along a; only one disorder fragment of the water molecules shown; disordered SO42– anions and H atoms omitted for clarity; dashed lines indicate H-bonding between water molecules) can be seen in this image. Strychnine has a mass of 334.4 g/mol and a polar surface area of 32.8Ų. PubChem claims no formal surface charge.

Lower frequency and higher magnetic field combinations would be required forreonance of molecules with larger mass / charge ratios.
“During the preparation of the medicine, EM potentials “write” the phase of the substance into the water CDs. This is in line with QED research by Del Giudice and Preparata, and other scientific articles showing experimental evidence.}
What does this look like? Does all of this change with exposure to Schumann resonances and the 50 Hz back ground from the global power grid that D’Emilia used for decoherence?
Summary
D’Emilia 2015 demonstrated 48.05 Hz ion cyclotron resonance of the H3O+ cation when exposed weak 7.83 and 33.7 Hz electromagnetic fields.
How do EMF affect preparation of homeopathic and other remedies? Magnawave PEMF devices emit the above Schumann resonances plus 50 Hz at proprietary field strengths. If the coils are placed far enough from the target, a practitioner might be able to get hydronium ion cyclotron resonance to occur. What this means in terms of living organisms or preparations is anyone’s guess at this point.
